Terry from Liverpool here…
Posted by Terry Furlong on June 20, 2007 at 5:51 amHello everyone, Terry from Liverpool here…..
Very new to this!
Got thrown in at the deep end about 2 months ago when a friend phoned me and asked if i could run his Sol jet 2 540. Took a couple of weeks to install a computer and all the software but we got there and have turned out quite a few jobs since. Recently bought a PC60 for mobile cutting and after a frustrating couple of hours i found myself here. Ive got very basic Illustrator and Corel Draw skills, little bit better in Photoshop but willing to learn and ready to listen. Its just a case of finding the time!!
Seems a friendly place 😀

Hi mate, its a good community here, ask a question, and someone will know the answer. If not, we just make it up :lol1: makes it more interesting that way :lol1: :lol1:
Just joking of course…. but then I could have made that up too 😳

Hi Terry, welcome to the boards. Loads of good info and friendly people here. Good luck with the PC60, having read quite a few posts about them it would seem that they can be a bit temperamental so probably not the best machine for a mobile unit but good luck with it anyway.

We’re based in Knowsley on the industrial estate and yes the pc60 is temperamental. Only managed to get it to cut, give up on trying to get it to print.
Spent all morning trying to get the internet to work and the soljet at the same time on the network using the BT business hub but got it all sorted now so i can browse the boards as I’m printing. Also had a success at reloading some printed media into the machine with crop marks and cutting it out. So not had a bad day so far.
cheers for all the replies 😀
