    Hey guys n gals,

i’ve been tasked by my annual scum-runner (a charity jaunt across Europe and russia in a sub £500 car) to put their smiley mugs into a sun like the image below.

does anyone have a sun similar to it so as to save me trying to draw one!

would prefer a printable vector as i;m rubbish with manipulating jpeg stuff!

    thanks,
    Hugh

Hugh….I haven’t got anything like that but it would be easy to create something like it in corel

Go to the stars option in the toolbox…pick the 8 pointed star from the the toolbar at the top and then use the distortion tool (in the same flyout as Blend and Extrude and such like)

once you’ve got the 8 pointed star….go to the distortion tool and click in the centre of the star and pull out slightly

really very easy to get the basic shape then you would just have to colour it how you wanted

Hugh, if you find a background you like you can put a clear oval over the top and trim (in corel) The results I have done are not great but you see the easy effects you can do by placing a photo behind

    Hope that helps a bit

    what do yuo think?

Chris, could I have those if they’re vector or print quality please?

    thanks agains chaps,
