  • Tactile signage – what machine is best?

    Hi All

I have been asked to tender for a tactile signage contract for a good customer, and there is enough work there for me to consider investing in some new kit.

I’m not familiar with engravers/routers but there seem to be a couple of ways of creating raised lettering. I would also like the ability to do braille, but it is not a necessity for this particular work.

If investing in a new machine I would prefer it to be big enough to cope with cutting acrylic/dibond/MDF etc so that I can get the most out of it.

Can anyone recommend a good machine for the job?

    Thanks

    John

Dhalgren 24-16 is the machine I use, it will cost you about 8k new, mine was 12k 7 years ago 🙄 Really good machine, in fact like you I had a big tactile job that paid for it in one go 😎 😀
