  • Table top trimming system required – recommendations please?

Posted by Warren Beard on October 29, 2014 at 10:41 am

    Hi All

I’m looking for opinions on the best table top trimming system for trimming up pop up panels and wall paper etc etc so would need to be at least 3m long I would suspect and very accurate?

Any recommendation would be great thanks.

    cheers

We bought one from Signmaster systems.

Ask for Nick and say you want the same one james bought from Group101…

Think it was around £500.00 works a treat on all materials even dibond.

I’ve got the keencut EVO II (260mm)

We purchased that as it folds down the side of the bench so we still have a flat surface for hemming banners etc.

It’s ideal for Roller Banners etc. It will cut foamex, and despite what it says there are ways to make it cut Di-Bond 😉

    Thanks James and David

Unfortunately I don’t buy from SignMaster Systems anymore but if you know what you have that will help.

Our bench is quiet large so enough room for eyeletting on one side and trimming on the other side so that shouldn’t be an issue.

Most important is good quality accurate cuts.

We don’t need to cut boards as we have a SteelTrak so it’s just for media really.

    Thanks

We (I Guess) have the same as James – Europa cutter bar with table mount & lifters.

Works well, nice an accurate when trimming 8ft panels to butt together when we do exhibition panels on foamex.
