Hi all,
I came across these plans to build your own panel saw ( like they use at b&q ) to cut sheet material. It looks good to me and certainly looks like you could make it for a couple of hundred quid and a circular saw!
I’m going to have a go anyway…..feckin fed up struggling with sheets of foam and ply!
Here’s the URL.http://members.telocity.com/lorenh/jigs.htm..you have to download the CAD program to be able to see the plans but it’s well worth it………now for the CNC machine made from an empty cornflake box, sticky tape and a cardboard tube…hmmm:-)
