Can some one please recommend a laser for printing t-shirts and does a laser transfer just leaver the image on the shirt or does it leave a carrier behind like ink jet transfers do.

I print T’s using Magic Touch paper on a Panasonic P8415 laser – works well but does it basically same way as inkjet transfer, I suspect (never tried) that sublimation would give a more durable print but you need special shirts and laser prints will press on ordinary stuff. You can iron over the print, they actually recommend it to restore the colour after washing but like most prints it will fade a bit especially if you wash at too high temperature.

Yeah that’s the only thing that bothers me with dyesub is the tshirts… stuck to plain normal and limited colours 🙁 I’ve ordered a few from different suppliers but the shape always seems to be wierd 👿 and I can’t find a decent normal tshirt…… well not yet 😉

Have you checked out the new range from Vapor Aparel? They are available through http://www.thetransferpress.co.uk . They are sublimation t-shirts, but different colours.

Let us know how you go with them will you please.

There are no distributors of them over here yet but I might import some if they work well.

    Thanks

Just got them through the door there, opened the pack and had a quick look before I head out….. they seem ok at first glance.

ok……… Just had another look at the tshirts, 8 in total and I can’t tell what’s what 😮

Don’t think I’ll be ordering these

Pity I’ve just wasted £40 on a sample pack 🙁
