• Swimming Pool Covers?

Posted by Daral Brennan on August 10, 2009 at 2:56 pm

    Hi All,

I’ve a potential client that wants me to print onto swimming pool covers(!).

Was wondering if anyone has experience of this?

I haven’t seen the material yet, but it’s apparently come kind of vinyl/PVC product. Could be like a huge banner?

Obviously I can supply printed and/or cut vinyl to be applied to these covers, but due to the sheer size, I cannot see a way of printing directly onto them here as I only got up to 1370mm wide.

Anyone know any printers that offer this as a trade only service?

All help and advice much appreciated. Thanks.

    Best wishes,
    Daral

    Hi Guys,
I would suggest you speak to trade companies that own 5m Wide machines either Solvent or UV.

    Regards,
    Stew

Macro Art are a good option as they offer both UV and Solvent. They also have a liquid laminate that will protect the print further.

Others include Cestrian, Monster Digital, Imaginators.
