• Suspended signs

Got a lovely customer on the go at the moment.

First of all, “I want a simple hanging sign from a metal bracket”

Worked out a design, made the bracket, painted it all up and had it ready to letter.

Then she phones and says she has been speaking to her friend who worked for a sign company as a rep (Who were more expensive, in the first place), who recomends a plastic sign. I duly arrange for it all and now she wants an illuminated sign. One with trough lighting.

The sign bracket and all is no use for using for the light so will now need a new sign with trough lighting.

Who do you all use and what are they like. I have a brochure for Insight at the mo and they seem pretty good

Stuart I hope your getting a good price for all the messing around. Has the customer paid you any deposit yet?

If not get one before you do anything else! Your time costs money!

Sorry i can’t recomend a supplier, but i too have insights stuff and it looks pretty good, Saw some of it at the sign show and was quite impressed.

Anyway good luck – you might need it!

The lady in question is a regular client who runs a mortgage brokerage business. She sells franchises all over the country so even though she is a pain she is a good client. Living in the sticks things are a bit different from the hustle and bustle you guys have, if I was to ask for deposits from locals I would not get any work a all. She will be fine at the end of the day and there is no quote involved, after the first change the quote was out the window.
