Have a look at the Direx system from Universal.

We use the two inch channel, two end caps. The channel has a front and back slot. Stick the Vacant/Engaged text in the back slot, then cut a matching piece (half the width of the whole sign) and slot in the front allowing you to cover one or the other text.

    Best wishes

Andy what sheet material do you use for the sliding panels?

Am I correct in thinking that if you use 1 fixed / 1 half sliding as you suggested that they can only be 1.5mm thick?

    Cheers

They slide in 2 different channels.
The rear one will take a 3mm panel, and the front one 2mm (I think from memory)

We use 1mm silver anodised in the front channel (matches the silver of the channel) then 1mm foam in the second channel (flood coated or print applied to match colours etc)

Dont think I’ve ever used the rear channel?

    Thanks Andy

I don’t think you can use the rear because of the end stops that fix the extrusion.

Where do u get your 1mm Anodised from?

    Thanks again.
