  • suppliers of Bronze or Copper Mirror vinyl please?

i have some copper/bronze vinyl in stock. its an old roll but doesn’t have any name on the release liner. so i am stumped on where to purchase more for a big job we have. this is not standard vinyl its "mirror chrome" type finish. i know bog standard on this type of stuff is mirror gold and silver but this is definitely bronze/copper.

something tells me it was autac in the past, does anyone else know a source? preferably 1230 wide or there about.

    thank you in advance 😀

Most, if not all, of our (Autac) mirror films were polyesters. I know most of them were Avery, if that’s any help in your search. The bulk of our stock was Avery, Mactac and KPMF.

we have now tried the usual suspects on this, even tried cox andy but they think if they had it its now discontinued 😕

i desperately need this vinyl/mirror effect film pronto now…
if any suppliers are reading this and can help me here email admin@uksignboards.com (mod msg: tut tut!! leaving contact details in an open forum :police: 😉 :lol1: )

the vinyl/polyester film is basicaly the same as the bog standard mirror chrome & gold film on the go. but i need copper/bronse. i have a roll end here but its unbranded and i dont know where we located it. i dont think it was autac now but could be wrong.

im after 1230 wide or there abouts on all the following…

    100 metres of mirror chrome
    100 metres of mirror copper/bronse
    100 metres of black
    100 metres of white

of course chrome, white and black are easy enough to loacte but will buy the rest from same supplier if they save the day 😀

coburn wouldnt be fast enough and the only other i have bought from is in the states. ive tried holographic too…

any help, suggestions much appreciated. 😀

    Hi Rob

Doro tape have a brushed copper and also in their Andromeda range they have a bronzy coppery colour.
Other than that I can’t find any in my extensive range of colour swatches.

Oracal have a copper in their 651 range but thats not mirror finish.

You could use mirror silver, laminate it with clear and then print over the top, I’ve used this method to get some really cool colour effects.

Robert nothing among my usual suspects – Harbor has Chrome and Gold mirrors, but no bronze/copper. FDC has only Brushed in copper – Beacon the same

Sorry Mate, no joy over here

it was 610 wide mate, widest they had but they did have good variety.
i got an email from debbie at grafityp after my post saying why not try these guys. she gave me a few and bam! struck it lucky… 😛
embarressing thing was, when i called and they asked who i was, they said “oh how are you doing, been a while sinse you order from us. last summer i beleive” in fact, this was the same firm i had used before but forgot who they where. 😳

i was rather pleased at what they could offer which basically no other suppliers offer. not vinyl as such, just speciality films like these.
i will be speaking with them next week about group benefits from their firm as it is always good to have them as a source.

pm me and ill give you price etc peter…

oh and thank you debbie, ide forget my head if it wasnt up my back-side. 😉
