Any Steel stockholder will be able to help you Warren.
We have just done the one last week and used 1.5mm & paid £40 a sheet(8×4). Was very heavy for the finished job but the customer was delighted.
Cheers

What size Warren?
I have just supplied a couple and ended up buying normal magnetic notice boards a few sizes are available.

You can get magnetic paint, did a whole wall with blackboard magnetic paint and it works quite well.

Different ways I have done it is to just fit standard boards as Martin has suggested, I have cut standard boards to size where a customer needed to fit it into a recess, just removed trim, cut board down and refitted trim.
One of the magnetic material companies, think it was Bisbell do several products that you can use to make boards yourself if they need to be custom made. I’ve used the thin magnetic sheet and the ferro sheeting and both worked well. You used to be able to buy them either plain or with a self adhesive film
