Supplier of commercial maps required !
Bit of a long shot but I need to obtain / buy either a hi res image or vector file of a map of a specific local area. I need this For printing then mounting onto the wall of a local estate agents. . it is to be a decorative item rather than a usable map and will be approxx 3000mm x 3000mm in size.
Any ideas. . . I really don’t fancy vectorising a couple of pages of the A to Z there must be another solution. . but after a quick google and search on multimap services I’ve found nothing !

Ordinance survey do a site map service, not sure if they supply the image or a print though.

Dave, one of our customers had a job last week to do the same thing. I think he needed it something like 5M long. Apparently an EPS file of the map cost £500 😮 Would ask him where he got it but he has just gone on holiday.

we just purchased one from A to Z, it worked out at £100+vat for about a 4km x 4km area, the actual map was only £25.00 and the rest is legal and licencing fees.
seems its the in thing at the moment for estate agents, ours was a 2m x 2m on stand off spacers on the reverse of 5mm acrylic, charged him about £900 and he said it was the cheapest price he’d had.
