That’s okay, I didn’t think many would even know what it is. My friend Simon in Wales watches some American Football after he came out here and saw some games on T.V. I think he has to pay extra for it though, or they just show one game a week.
It’s a big deal here. The commercials are usually the best part. They come out with the best ones just for the SuperBowl. They are really expensive too.

The commercials are certainly interesting… as is the half-time show.

I remember watching the game start at rediculous hour in the morning then going on all night long.

did I read somewhere that Pepsi and Bud paid $5m for a 30 sec slot last year? I know it was expensive. Obviously no money in fizzy drinks 😕

Ah well, I’ll be in front of the tv with liberal supplies of beer, smokes and salty snacks. My staff will be told not to expect me in very early the next morning.

I don’t really care who wins (Green Bay aren’t playing) but I think I had better root for the Steelers or Jill will be on my case. 😀

    Are yins kidding?
I sure hope the Steelers will win, as I live 20 miles north of Pittsburgh.
The upcoming event has been great for my business.
Lots of last-minute signs and banners.
I went from being a wee bit busy to slammed in a matter of days.
I think it’s pretty cool that the Stones will do the halftime show too.
(anything’s better than Janet Jackson’s right nipple and Justin Timberfairy)
    love…..Jill

I was thinking the same thing (half time show).
I saw the Stones when they were here in San Diego a few months ago.
I also had a couple of recent jobs making some Steelers banners/signs.
No Seahawk signs though….guess that is saying something.

Here are one of the designs I made for the banners.

The Rams are now in St. Luis so your jacket is a collectors item. Keep it nice and Ebay it when you get old.

Why does the thought of little Rob in a scrum with some bulking American football players bring a smile to my lips?

    😀

Going for the Steelers (no reason) just wish the Cowboys could get their act together.

I will be watching the whole game too

The yanks are a bunch of fairies. They have to wear crash helmets and padding just to play a game of football. In my day you were soft (and had rich parents) if you wore shinpads 😛
