Summacut very slow cut despite settings – help please?
Hi All, I found a similar post and have replied on it but just in case anyone misses it, my D120 is cutting really slow despite the velocity settings on the PC and the cutter being 800.
it cuts slow in both normal cut and registration mark opus mode however, I know it’s not the PC because I can tell if its going to run slow or not when it boots up initially, the whole set up is slow, and as soon as it starts its registration sequence it’s running slow before it even starts the cut. This only happened occasionally up till now and its permanently slow currently on every job, not just the odd one or two like it has been. It even feeds really slow?
I’m thinking maybe a firmware upgrade may help?
Anyone had a similar problem?

firmware upgrade could give you more probs if there is a fault already, its been awhile but sure if you go through menu you will find a rest to factory which will remove all user settings if this don’t cure the fault then may be speak to someone like Art Systems or Harry at Edward mathiusKev

I did the firmware upgrade, no additional problems, but nothing has changed.
I’m going to try a reset and see what happens

is it definately set to cutting tool because Pen & Pounce tool can sometimes have a maximum speed to run so ignore increases made on control panel etcKev

Ok, I will check that, the reset didn’t work..
Will check when it’s finished the current cut in an hours or so lol yaaaaaaaawn
