  • Suggestion of an alternative to Digiprint Supplies?

Posted by Philip Gibbs on March 7, 2019 at 9:31 pm

Hi there. Is there an alternative to Digiprint as we are now desperate for the print head for our printer.
Digiprint’s website says they have it in stock but after waiting 3 days and the order hasn’t been sent yet.
Today they have admitted that they do not have it in stock and can’t tell me when.
Any ideas who might have a mutoh vj-1604 print head in stock?
    Thanks

This is a familiar story unfortunately. I’m not sure what we have in stock at the minute as I’m working away doing an install but the UK distributor is Colourgen. They’ll be more expensive but it depends how desperate you are. 01628588755 for support, speak to Ben or Garry.

    Good luck.

When I was let down recently, the lovely people at AD Young in Bristol helped – could try them.

    Thanks for that Colin.
Hopefully I will get it Monday as digiprint have finally sent it.
I have found a couple alternatives myself but each was going to take a while or quite a lot more expensive.

FH-union (spoke to Jonathan) "normally in stock but sold last one and new ones were going to take a week"
    Very Helpful

futuraprint (Alex) about 4-5 days but was the cheapest

Have you tried Loic at Josero

He advertises on the boards, his advert is on the right of every page

    http://www.josero.com/

Give him a shout as I know first hand he holds stock of most parts
