I’ve been having a messing about with stockframe from Jag sign supplies, has anyone ever used this??

I’m having trouble getting the corners to match up nice and flush, can anyone advise the best way to do this?

The way i did it was to cut the panel to the size i wanted then cut the stock frame to fit, but it was difficult to judge the correct size required.

Anyone fancy giving a basic step by step?

I gave up trying months ago, never could get it right, tried mitre boxes and saws, putting wooden lats under the return to support it etc etc, still have 3 or 4 lengths covered in dust lurking under a work top somewhere.
If anyone has ever got this perfect I’d be interested (and surprised 😆 )

I too have some collecting dust! And a load of offcuts trying to match the corners!
I think the trick maybe to cut the inside length a mm or so over and cut file the others to match. leave one end until you have stuck the other 3 down then measure that gap(should be the same as the other end I know but..)

I think you can buy corners though which should eliminate the need to mitre.

    Good luck

    P.S It’ll look alright 10 feet up LOL 😀 😀
