Sticker Stock
Posted by Jason Xuereb on March 2, 2008 at 2:37 amWhat are you guys using for small stickers and labels?
I’m looking for a better quality print. Printing on a Roland SP540V.

Hey Drew,
I’m using the Avery MPI 3000 Gloss as well and find when I have to do really small stickers it seems like I get a bit of bleed. When I run it on the matt finish I don’t get this.
The matt prints up better then the gloss.
I’m finding it more on black stickers I get this problem. My test print pattern is fine maybe I have to adjust my feed control.

I’m the opposite. I get bleed in the matt, but not on the gloss. You got the heat up high enough?

50c on both print and dyer.
I just get this on black.
I’m doing small stickers say 5cm by 2cm with like 10pt text.
Trying to calibrate everything.

jason 10 pt text is starting to ask the system imho.
defection of any jets is worse than drop out and bi-direction dont help even if its set up well.
720 x720 should give your best results have a look at the text with a magnifying glass to give you a clue as to whats going onchris

Cheers Chris.
I think I got some deflection on my black head. When I use magenta or yellow I get improved results.
