sorry Rob, being lazy here, Steve’s posted so many jobs i couldnt possibly comment on all of them !!! so i thought i’d set up the “5 day Steve Geary appreciation society” for when he returns !!!

personally i think we should all chip in and get a big bronze statue of steve made for his return next week. mount it at the top of some park steps like in the rocky film. but instead of holding his hands up in the air with boxing gloves, he could have some vinyl in one and a paint brush in the other? :lol1: :lol1:

don’t know what to say… My name as a thread topic.
First off, thanks Hugh, and everyone else for the kind words and re assurance.
As I think most of you know, before i found uksb, i have had very little to no input on my work from other Artists and sign makers. I’ve only been in business for three years, but i was dabbling in the field my whole life, since art school in ’86. I didn’t have the benefit of working in the field and learning from experienced people hands on. I have researched and utilized publications and on line sources, but pretty much self taught.
I really have only seen myself improving technique the last few months because of all the input and knowledge I’ve gained from this site, and all of you people.
I’m extremely flattered that you all give me the seal of approval. There are a lot of Very talented and skilled people here that i Admire very much. Just seeing your work has helped me tremendously. On top of that you give me great advice and criticism.
So, as far as me posting all the work at once.. I’ve just been so busy, that i haven’t had much of a chance to post as i go, although i think 3/4 of the work I posted was cranked out in the last two weeks.
The main reason i ‘ve put anything on here is for the input you all give me, and i have to say, that it’s been invaluable to me.
I know every thing i get from uksb is benefiting me and my business, and i can’t say thank you enough!
I feel pretty close to a lot of you guys… someday i hope i can return the favors and help.
I still fell overwhelmed right now with my increased volume of business, but i have uksb to call on whenever i need help…. it’s just awesome!
Special thanks to Jill for hooking me up with a colleague to help me… it’s working out great and couldn’t have come at a better time.
Again, Thanks for all the input and help. I appreciate it far more than i can convey.
