• static cling printing

    Hi all,
    Got a sample of some clear static cling window film that i would like to try out i will be using Sign Lab 7 and my Gerber edge. Can anyone tell me the best way to print to this material as i have never used it before.

    Not sure how you do this in signlab being an Omega user – change the material profile to static cling wich will decrease the heat settings on the head and on clear would generally reverse print, and more often than not would also give it a white floodcoat

    Hi Thanks for that, so by selecting reverse print it will print top layers first finishing off with a flood coat ?

    I would reverse print, then print over the whole image with white, which would make it more opaque the white layer would need to be brought to the front and set as an overprint otherwise it will print around your design and not over it
