For some reason my printer keeps saying "Time for maintenance" on the display panel

I’ve pressed return and done the maintenance then about 2-3 days later it will do it again…. turning it off and back on cures it but I want to figure out why it’s doing it

Anyone got any ideas?…. sensible ones at that 😉

    Cheers 😎

Have you done the head clean button on its own, or switching the front power off and holding clean button then switching back on? Maybe just needs a combination of both? Never seen that on our 540… weird!

I’ve had that on my cadet plus. It has always gone after I have done the maintenance.

Are you doing the ‘full’ maintenance. (As above)

    Power off.

Then POWER om whilst holding down CLEAN.

    Enters maintenance mode.

Moves head to LHS (prompts to take off cover)

then you can get in and around the heads, wipers.etc.

    Should clear then.

Also – WIPER REPLACE – have to go thorough the menu to get rid of that after you do it too.
