  • Sourcing Optically Clear Material for Latax Printing – help?

Posted by Dave Rich on May 7, 2015 at 8:31 am

    Hi Guys and Gals

Can anyone tell me of a few suppliers that sell Optically clear digital print media suitable for Latex printing. We had a sample from Papergraphics, we printed on it, applied it at the clients premises, after 1 month they approved it only for Papergraphics to tell us it has been removed as it turns milky after a period of time! Therefore I need to source some more material.

    thanks

Neschen do a great line of optically clear stuff. We’ve had the one down from optically clear and it’s great on our Latex printer. Not the cheapest, but I’ve found you get what you pay for! I’ve recently spoke to a lady called Georgina Winfield at Art Systems who do the Neschen range and she’s been great. Try giving them a call as I’m sure they’ll help!

    Second that!

Georgina Winfield is fantastic and really know her stuff.

Has often got stuff our to me next day at close to 5.00 in the afternoon

The material isn’t the cheapest but the quality is superb! Do the jib right first time round

Thanks guys, we did buy some from Dorotape and have had a bit of a nightmare with it. It had a top coat/layer that quite easily peeled off, also the Latex ink came away too easily once wet. We will try the Neschen thanks
