they can be made pretty easily mate. but there is a supplier in the UK. cant remember who though… they were posted on the boards a few months back if you try searching for them.
out of interest, is the sign large and is it only being hung indoors or out? -
Hi Rob the sign is going outside and is 1800mm high x 1400mm wide dibond fitted on to two posts.

why not just use channel and clips to fix?
using this type of bracket will mean it can easily lifted off and pinched.
hence why i was asking if its temp. -
I was going to fit two sets of rails one top one bottom facing opposite ways and slide the sign on from the side and lock the rails together with a self tapper on the ends.

Thats a large area of dibond to fix direct to posts,
as Rob said you will need some extra strengthening, otherwise the rivets or whatever you are using will just give way in the first mild wind.I would say 4 rails fitted horizontally, (Standard sign rails, forget the generic term for them)and clips to suit

Hi peter I thought the slide on method would allow for some expansion and I could still fit 4 rails.
Where would recommend to buy channel and clips from.

Cherwell sign sign supplies (01280-840297)
or
Ashby http://www.ashbytrade.co.uk/postclips.htm
(not sure if ashby sell the rail separate, but they fit it to their pre-made signs)Peter

The good thing about dibond is that the expansion co-efficient is negligible. The last time I worked it out, over a 16′ sign I think it worked out to just under 2.0mm.

Over what temperature range was that?? and was that for air temperature or the actual temp of the sign?

This was the thread with the discussion about the fixings you have drawn

Thanks Warren that’s what I had in mind.
Thanks to all for your help will post some pic’s when finished.

Dibond spec sheets quote linear thermal expansion @ 2.4mm / m at 100 deg C temp difference.
