Unfortunatly I don’t have an excuse for not being around I think its because I have been a bit down with everything that is going on, still now I have made the decision to change my name and image with a bit of luck things will get better.

every holiday i go on i always seem to come home with new ideas, inspired by what i have saw on my travels..

Good to be back!

I must say I wasn’t all that impressed with the signage over there. I did notice that for general signs like ‘no parking’ ‘reception’ and small stuff like that, they seem to bolt it to a ……
I don’t how to describe it…….Its just a flat piece of galvanised about 50mm in width (3mm gauge) with a series of holes already punched throughout its whole length. It seems to be standard stuff that you stock and cut as you go. Simply bolt right through the front of the sign.

Ok I guess for the general sign but not really for something with class.

Surprised too at the trucks. Beautiful machines but a lot of them didn’t have any noticeable signwork on that would turn my head. Huge amount of space to work with. Need ‘Mike the Sign’ to inspire them.

I’m always looking for (-) as to how others have tackled a problem.

But you know what its like…you stop walking and inspect how a sign is fixed, whether its screened, digital or straight vinyl, what its all put on… aluminium, perspex or foamex…..

You turn to see where the wife is and she’s in the distance with that look on her face that says ‘Come on we’ll never get there at this rate’ (hot)

Or your taking a closer look at a sign above you in the high street to notice that others begin to look at the same thing. They think you’ve spotted a rare bird nestling on one of the letters or that your in some kind of trance. 😮 😮

Must stop doin’ that 😉 😉

Isn’t it hard to go on holiday and NOT look at signs….and in my case T-shirts?

Just back from 11 nights in Majorca, English Breakfast every morning, Football and Water Polo every day, Happy Hour every night (plus some!!) and the wife bxxxxxxxxx me for going shopping, looking at the labels and touching all the vinyls!!

(Come on..you know you’ve done it. Your on the bus and the writing on the window looks etched, so you change seats run your hands across it and say…’that’s vinyl that is!!’)
