somthing a little differnt from the normal vinyl application
hi all
i just thought i wouild post some pics of my brother jims work.
hes a scottish artist that has become a very big name in the art world. (not and name that you and i would know of course 😉 )
anyway ill post some pics and if you would like to see anything else he does , just do a search in google for "jim lambie"the job shown here is done in multi-coloured individual plotter cut lines in mirror vinyl. /polyester film supplied by coburn in the states.
he has also done loads of the same idea across the globe varying the idea a little. using flourescent vinyl, normal coloured vinyls, mono-chrome etc
see what you think! this floor was in a gallery in dusseldorf & took a team of 4 a total of 4 days to complete. each line (colour) is laid one at a time.
thickest line is 1.5 inch thinest .25 inch
