Stop searching Marko. I’ve got one!

It is badged a CSR1000TX but is really a Summgraphics T1010+

One metre wide, sprocket or friction feed, drag blade or tangential.

It is a good sturdy workmanlike bit of kit and has lots of life left in it. We have only replaced it because we needed to go optical for use with our new printer.

Well John, now you just need to tell me how many £:s for the machine and how much for shipping it to Finland.
Meanwhile I´ll try to find more specifics on the thing…

    Let me know.

Google doesn´t give me anything on this.
Can you John tell me more about it?

If you can give me a bit of time I will take some pictures.

I have no idea what it is worth. It cost £7,000 plus VAT when it was new but if I don’t dispose of it it will always be in the way, so if I could get £500 for it I would be happy.

As for shipping to Finland, I will have to do some research on method and costs.

    Ok John, I´ll be here…

    Oh, how old is it?
Also, don´t you guys use 110V power (we use 220V)?
Does it run with Windows XP and can it cut from CorelDraw (I now have CD12 and X3)?

Age is something I will have to check Marko.

We use 220/240 volts at 50 Hz.
    The book says 100V, 110V, 220V and 240V.

We always ran it with a Mac, but that isn’t important, it will run from a PC as well. What matters is that it uses standard HPGL or DMPL commands so anything that outputs one of those command sets will operate it. The book says that any software with a Summagraphics driver will work. It also says that if your software does not list Summagraphics, to use a Houston one.

Seems ok, for what I can tell from the pic.
Let´s get back to this when you know the shipping…

    John,

Have you still got your cutter for sale? Our Graphtec died (again!) and I need to find one urgently.

Can you call me on 023 9265 4720?

    Cheers,

    Peter
