We used MacTac wall mural, it’s a self adhesive paper.

    Printed 48 m2 on our Solvent machine with 100% coverage… here’s a few points:

    1) If the wall your fitting too has poor/loose paint, when you reposition the paper, it comes away with the paint, thus leaving it not sticky, causing bubbles in the wall.

    2) The ink was super delicate, even an avery felt squeegee rubbed the ink away (although that was almost straight off the machine)

We have installed the same product, but was printed on a UV machine, and it was miles more durable.

IMHO I would sub it out the likes of Group 101, we didn’t due to time constraints by the client.

Thats a grand looking job buddy!

I always found printing wallpaper on the solvent very delicate to handle – The latex on the other hand was much nicer but even then I found on some textured wallpapers the inks would come off especially the respositionable stuff.

Printing wallpaper on the UV is defo more durable – Our UV flatbed prints the digimura range from papergraphics superbly.

Top job as always buddy – Keep up the good work!

    Cheers James!

You know the ridiculous time scales, measured on Monday, double checked Wednesday as the wall was being erected, ordered Material Wednesday, Delivered Thursday AM, printed Thursday, fitted Friday. :yikes:

    Thanks for the replies.

I have fitted solvent printed Digimura and solvent printed re positionable in the past as a contract fitter with no issues……but the re positionable stuff had no manufacturers markings.
