Solvent Cleaner / Swabs
Hello,
I’m using Full Solvent Inktec Inks on a Mimaki JV3160SP – All is well with the inks, but the Inktec solvent cleaner destroys the (allegedly) Solvent resistant Swabs – Thus making cleaning the heads very difficult.
I’ve not had the printer long, and the previous owner told me he was using genuine Mimaki cleaning solution with the Inktec Ink.
Has anyone had any experience of this – is the solvent compatible?
Does anyone know where I can get some Genuine Mimaki Cleaner from?
is there another solvent cleaner I could be using with the Inktec Inks.?
Are there some swabs out there that can handle the Inktec Solvent Cleaner..?Thanks in advance – and Hello…I’m new here

Digiprint supplies sell the cleaner and swabs, but you may find the swabs cheaper from Edson Electronics. We use the keyboard swabs.
