    Any one got any experience with Solar powered Sign Lighting I have a sign to place at the end of a remote lane for a school its to far to run a cable down. I was thinking of a spots or a trough light but haven’t found anything suitable yet. any ideas ??

    Signscape have been advertising solar powered lighting for their notice boards Signscape solar lighting – and Hamish at Signscape is very helpful so might be able to point you in the right direction.

    but you would need to make your own housing for the above.

    I’m sure I saw B&Q selling twin spot solar lights.
    I bought one from Makro for the house but took it back as it didn’t work. It was a bit flimsy for the purpose, ie very cheap plastic.

    Im sure Applelec Sign Components were showing a system last year at Sign UK.

    I have spoken to Hamish he was very helpful
    nice product but not sure its exactly what i need as we don’t need the notice board area.

    I will give applec a try tomorrow.
