Yes Folks, its all done and dusted, we seem to spend months getting ready, and looking forward to it, then in a flash its gone.

Was it worth it, and why?

I’m not a big fan of Christmas but, yes, it was worth it.

The trick is not to make it too onerous for any individual which, in our house would be Jenny, as most of the effort falls on her shoulders. As the years go by we find ways of refining the procedure and have now got it down to a fine art so that it is fun without being hard work.

This year was helped by having a new grandson and even though he is only a year old, and wasn’t really aware of the significance of the occasion, it was nice to have small children in the house again.

Now we have lots to look forward to in the coming year, from both the business and the personal angles. Cynical old sod that I am, I haven’t been so optimistic for a long time.
