Hi all, I’m looking for a supplier of slate signs with engraved lettering.

    Can anyone recommend any companies.

    Cheers.

    Hi Neil

I had a small brochure from Atlantic Signs in Cornwall
    http://www.housesignsonline.co.uk

I’ve not used them but might be worth a look.

    Cheers

    Chris

Try your local stonemason, that’s what I did when I needed a large slate sign.

    Neil….

    Wales? Asking for slate signs?

My entire house is filled with slate memorabilia from the north wales slate mines…very close to my heart! If you need any picking up and delivering I’d gladly oblige…Altho in Northampton!

Dont for get to look for monumental stone masons too, I mostly use a local one in town too.

Inigo Jones also supply but not the cheapest.

Hi Matty, I know, I know, I just wanted some recommendations.

Anyway I’m from South Wales all we have here is coal, no mines, but lots of coal 😀

When we bought our house we found quite large pieces of slate in our garden which we now have as thresholds and shelves.

    hello there
-in your local b and q, they do a floor tile 300 by 600 – ish, 10mm thick
the split slate/stone effect has the technimacle name ‘rivened’
anyway, they almost look plastic like but the excellent thing is they are cheap nice!!!
i think they come in a 3 pack for £17
