Take a piece of vinyl about six inches long and wide enough to cover the grit roller (about 50mm). Remove the backing paper to expose the glue. Place this in the machine and lower the rollers. Then pull the vinyl through. The vinyl will remove debris from the grit rollers making them more efficient and less likely to slippage.

have you tried it Phill ?? does it not leave glue on the rollers ?

You would think so Lynn – but the glue stays on the vinyl and all the debris trapped in the hollows of the grit rollers get removed this way

I’m really sorry I missed it this year.
Fully intended to go on Wednesday, but came over all feak & weable with flu :sleep3:
Decided to go to bed and sleep it off………woke up this morning 😀

Hi Lynn,
I live about 20mins away in a village called Corley.I fully intended to be there, got my ticket and everything…….just felt too poorly.
Didn’t want to keel over and collapse on the floor of the signmakers bar without a good reason :lol1:
I’ll be there next year……promise.
The only upside is that it probably saved me a bit of money.
