    Hi Guys,

    Just wanted to get a general opinions on this;

    We had a client walk through our door the other day and ask us to manufacture 6 fret cut pan tray signs with illumination for installation the following day.

    As we have our own CNC machine and keep a large stock of material we were able to agree….I was shocked when he pulled a huge amount of cash from his pocket as a deposit and then asked is that enough or would you like more…???

    So we’ve done an all nighter got the trays maufacturered here in house and are installing the sign this evening. Its a big old job in a famous shopping centre so have had to do all the risk assessments, method statement and health safety paperwork that goes with these things…..

    My question to you guys is what the quickest you guys have had to turn around a sign? and would you normally take on these time frames.

    Many Thanks

    I would get it done yesterday if there were enough pictures of the queen involved!

    CASH IS KING and some one with a big bundle of it can get an amazing service.

    If someone is paying upfront and paying over the odds for the "drop all to accommodate". then of course you do just that…

    to be honest, anything other than labour intensive products, we work to the 48hr turnaround if & when we can anyway…

    for general information signage that is handed over, we will do same day… in some cases, come back in a few hours.

    Had 4 table plans to do for a large events company. Each had 850 names on it.

    Got the call at 10am, courier arrived at 17:30…

    I had no foamex in stock so had to collect, then they changed their mind on size and had to cut it down, and the brand new laminator we were mounting them with had a glitch so ended up doing them by hand.

    They sent the names over by e-mail, so half the battle was won… apart from deleting the tabs, and then to be told it should be surname, first name.

    That was a nice little earner, as I charged a short notice charge, as they needed them that day, and had to put other clients work to one side.

    I wouldn’t repeat the experience again in a rush.
