i first brought a signpal ultra 610 which is 3 years old still good as new ,i also have a d60 which is better for tracking long runs but price wise the signpal is brill 😛

Ive got a sign pal ultra 610 also and so far so good, I think the lynx is similar except that some of the adjustments are done manually at the side rather than on the LCD display, but basically the same machine.

rich, peter, john….
thanks for the feedback on these machines guys, great news that they are proving very reputable. 😛
just as a nosey… who sells these and what width, make of these machines are you running? -
Robbie, graphityp sell em, But of course you knew that, as they have an add on the boards, 😀

hi peter
of course i knew that grafityp were agents for signpal, but then again, there must be many agents for the same machines across the UK?
take my grenedier…. i can buy it from at least 6 different outlat across the uk… each of those Will certainly have a different level sales/support/advice etc.. BUT THE SAME MACHINE!… exactly my point… who sold you & the others the machines and why are you all happy?
that is what the readers want to know, not i? 😉 -
fair point, but I bought mine from graphityp, couldnt comment on after sales service, never had to use it! I buy a few bits a bobs from them, but they are always helpful, no complaints only compliments, dont know anybody else who sell signpal though.
Peter -
thank you peter… thats my angle… unbiased opinions/views from end users, not suppliers… 😀
at the end of the day it helps Heep’s for those looking at the same machine, but dont know where to buy it.
as for who takes the advert spots? as long as i know them to be reputable, i couldn’t give a damn… i have a que…. first come first served

got mine from graphityp too,i was so new to sign making then didn’t even know what a plotter looked like,i rang graphityp and was put through to some on who was more than helpful and went through lots of options even down to what level of soft wear i needed ,as for after sales like peter never needed them,i still use them for vinyl and other sign related products always very helpful

I run a Signpal Lynx S-60, had it for 3.1/2 years now and has been a good un for the cost of it. Tracking can be a problem on 3mtr + cuts being a two friction roller drive machine, but a bit of time setting up can enable you to get good results on longer runs.
Here’s a bigger than normal job I have done with mine….

Hi,
I’ve got a Signpal Jaguar 610, which I bought from Grafityp about 3-4 months ago. It’s an excellent piece of kit, and I would recommend it.
I ordered the machine quite late on Monday afternoon, and was quite disbelieving when I was told I would receive it the next day, but sure enough it came first thing the next morning!
I had a couple of probs when I first got the machine, but they were just due to me not using the correct settings etc – as a result I had several conversations with people at Grafityp, and I found them to be very helpful.
The level of customer service was first class, and they always returned my calls promptly. They didn’t hesitate to offer to send someone out to see me, but as it turned out, it wasn’t necessary to do that anyway.
Highly recommended in my opinion!

I purchased a signpal jaguar 610 seconhand from a finance co. no back up software or manuals, since joining uk signboards i have been able to contact the suppliers who have ben excellent. My thanks go to this forum and NIGEL of GRAPITYP. an excellent machine from a GOOD company

Rob – Got mine from Graphityp too, Signpal ultra 610 (and it cuts full width) with Signpal Master software which is flexisign derivitive I think, just to give another perspective I had a few issues which wernt resolved as well as i would have liked but would still recommend them as a good company to use as a newbie.

Hi everyone
Thanks for all the replies, hope you dont mind me asking for a bit more advice regarding price of this machine.
It has apparently done very little work and is in superb condition, it comes with manuals, FlexiSign and some other bits of software, several 25 metre rolls of vinyl and spare blades.
I have been offered it for £725. just wondered if anyone had any comments.
I know this is a bit of a funny one to ask but it would just help to make up my mind.
Many thanks

i would say go for it but is it flexisign or signpal ??they look almost the same and even files created in signpal will open in flexi ,if it is signpal then may be i would offer around £6oo
only because you get signpal free i think if you buy new !
