not sure what i’ve posted of later, but here’s a few,

the ambliance was finished today, and is No.2 of about 5 i have to do, all for prvate events like horsey point to points, bike road races etc. this one was a lot easier than the vitara! there’s a few bits to add yet, web adress etc, but as they’re in the middle of changing names, i’ll do that later. the great news is that their new premesis will hold 20+ vehicles, with any luck i might have somewhere to work when windy / rainy now, only just down the road too!

amblance all in nikkalite reflective, except for the text which is just 651.

Circus IT, now finished with the re-built / re-painted lightbox that some of you may remember i had trouble with.

A feaver transit, coburn 5yr chrome on black 751, thanks to Mr N for the prints.

    cheers.
    Hugh

    a. feaver transit, the rear door ic was what i fitted about 18 months ago, 5yr rainbow chrme by coburn, still looks great!

the light box and flag above were bolted on using ‘thunder bolts’, they’re like a giant screw that bites directly into the brick, drill an 8mm hole and wind the 10mm bolt in, solid as anything, no chemical fixings required, and no outward expansion to damage brickwork etc.

    Great stuff that.

Love the van, logo looks very eye catching.

One to note, screwfix do that type of fitting bolt you describe, think theirs is called a ‘multi-monti’. Used them on my decking about 4 years ago now and they are still going strong. Really good fitting that allows you to bolt right on to the edge of brick-work etc like you say with no expansion worries. . . sorry off topic!

Cheers Matt, things aren’t too bad work wise, could just do with more of those little jobs coming in, rather than the more involved jobs which seem to take an age to get agreed and done! if you’re in the area gimme a shout and pop round.

HI Adrian, thanks. those bolt things are pretty cool, i wasn’t keen on using them as first, but they’re fine. other than the chap in the shop telling me to use a 10mm masontry bit for a 10mm fixing… duh. luckily i ignored him and used an 8mm, into which they fitted just perfect. the 10mm test hole (shhhh!) left the bolt barely gripping anything. so t’s worth considering that in future!

    cheers.
