    Hiya Steve,

I don’t know if you can get it in the UK, but if you can, try it. Cuts and weeds just like anything else and it looks like nothing else!

    Try this address:
    SignGold@hotmail.com
    or http://www.SignGold.com
It is real 23 carat gold with a Tedlar cover.
(for lack of a technical definition)
Comes in several finishes such as Florentine
or engine-turned. It has a 10-14 year life,
    and is very very thin.
I am sure it is sold in the UK.
I like it because you can get a cool CD
when you purchase a starter kit.
It is quite expensive, but that can be figured in
to the cost of your estimate.
    Love…Jill

I used Sign Gold on a Job last week.I was very impressed with it. It has a clear plastic backing, instead of a paper one, which takes a bit of getting used too.
Cherwell sell it for £53 a metre, but i got 7 metres for £48 per Metre.

how do you find it cuts, applies mate?

Cuts very well, i found 110g to be about the right force for cutting. Most of the text was Times Roman & had to watch the serifs, as on the smaller text it would sometimes pull.
Applies much like any good cast vinyl really.Very thin & the overall finish is outstanding, but then at 20 times the standard vinyl cost it should be 🙁 😮

    Robert,

Yes on the PC600 and I probably got around 10 hours real time in construction.

    Thanks for the comments too…..

    Nice work Stikrz
Good to see the traditional style incorporated

    Nice work too! Steve

That nearly a metre of gold on the bonnet

Did you utilise the large areas of gold in the middle of the logo?

Don’t tell me you weeded and binned 😆 😆

Yes thats one bit of Vinyl approx 800 x 400mm…total Job was £800, 7 metres of sign Gold & £48per M = £336. Profit = £464, not bad for an Afternoons work 😎

I could have made at least 2 Gold rings and maybe a chain with what was binned!! 😮 Mu ha ha
