    it was on bbc2 or is coming on?

    how long for, whats it about… or is it just the show?

    it on now is about sign uk 2005 awards aswell its a real mix of a show im in northern ireland though so is scottish bbc the same

    sorry for posting an irrelevant post but i thought it someone might be watching it. it was about a company that had a neon type signs and loads of cursing and generally running down the sign industry . at the end he went bk to the double glazing business

    there is a neon guy here… he was documented by the BBC.. maybe to do with him

    I was at IPEX this week… i ended up on IPEX TV show… I have no idea where they are broadcasting it too… maybe they wasn’t.

    if it was the couple (forget name, double glazing) They were featured at signuk last year 2005 by bbc2, thats the interveiw with them i ducked out of :lol1: 😳 glad i did now… not my thing 😉
    yeh, chris and pete from the boards were featured recently on TV might have been that…

    Yes, it was the Coventry double Glazing duo, who think they have hit it big time in the sign industry!! comedians!!

    The show’s called "The Armstrongs". It’s presented as a fly on the wall documentary but I don’t believe it is. I think the whole show is scripted and performed by actors. Very funny though :lol1:

    I’d go along with you on that Phil, it does seem very staged.

    Great TV though!

    All that way to Las Vagas show, and they had no point of sale at all about the product, just some business cards on a table draped by a creased Union Jack.

    The signs were behind the table on the floor where you couldn’t see them.
    Nice to see they had a roll up banner for the UK show.
    My question is have they sold any????
    They kept saying they now had 2 businesses making money, but failed to mention anything on the order front.

    While on the TV theme, ‘The Apprentice” on before the Armstrongs is great veiwing, again slightly staged but still very good.

    I saw that on BBC2 last night. Not very impressed with it to be honest.

    Were they trying to go along the lines of…dare I say it…"Orange County Choppers)? 🙂
