  • Sign pole and fingerpost sign

    Hi
Please could someone or two or more of you help me with this one
I have been asked for two prices, supply / supply and fit the first being a single pole about 8′ high with two signs kind of back to back, the signs being 18" x 36" printed and laminated.
The second is for a finger post with 4 – 6 fingers supply /supply and fit.
I have not done any of these yet so not sure who are the best people to get the poles and fixings from, I would really be grateful for an idea on what to charge for these and where to get them from
    Thanks

a large sign co in Cornwall has recently quoted £285 per finger plus every thing else, it was for high quality components though and would last until a drunk swings from it.
normally people that ask for this type of thing have bought before nothing wrong with asking what they paid, they may tell a fib or 2.

    Thanks Chris
But where would I get the the poles from and the finger post and the fixings, as in the channels that attach to the sign and then clamp around the post (street signs).
I have been looking and been quoted £400 for a finger post trade, which is what the customer paid for there last one, also would be nice to use one good company first time for these bits instead of two or three then finding the good one.
Please dont think im being lazy as I have spent hours searching on here and thought it was about time I asked

i am looking at using the local talent to make my fingers so see how i get on.

for the posts you may try the local highways depot.
