shop signage: headcase hairdressers
Posted by Steve Underhill on April 30, 2008 at 7:57 pmOne I did last week.
believe it or not 3 of us fitted this due to extremely high winds and an opening night deadline.
Any bigger and they would have missed their deadline, being this small and nowhere near any people it went up ok.
Sign is actually central, but the photos were done on my super wide 10-22mm lens so makes it look a bit wierd.
Was very limited on space as you can see.
4 metres by 300mm lol.Steve Underhill replied 16 years ago 5 Members · 12 Replies -

looks good steve,
i especially like the print of the quayside / harbour on the inside of the glass, very clever!
-
That wasn’t me
Harry painted that one in exchange for an 8 quid glass of red wine.
(Hilton joke) or not a joke actually
LOL -
😀 😀 😀 Worst thing about that 8 quid glass was that you all decided to leave and I had to gulp! I’ve had good nights out on 8 quid sterling 🙁 🙁
Like the font in that sign Steve, is it Blippo?
-
Oh I didnt leave, I stayed cant blame me lol
The font is Bauhaus, its similar to blippo but some ofthe letters are differently angled etc -
pretty sure it’s not Blippo Harry
sorry Steve forgot to say nice signLynn

Must be a few different versions, because my Bauhaus is different. (As Hitler said to the actress!) 😀
-
Sorry Lynn, you’re right, as Hitler said to the Bishop! 😀 😀

Nice one Steve.
I assume the two sticky out things stopped you going a bit higher, what are they? -
Im not sure what the pipes were, they looked like they could be just cut, I wanted to but in the end couldnt as they fed into the living room above the shop, I dont think they went anywhere as they couldnt have been overflow pipes as it wasnt near any sink or bath etc.
Couldnt risk it though so had to stick with 300mm
LOL I have a job to do with almost identical measurements today as well.
🙁
