    Hi Roffs,

Great work, it all works really well! Thanks for letting us have a peep.

I know there are 2 ‘P’s in CHIPPIE, but is there meant to be a ‘P’ in SHOP? And, yes I’m ready for there’s no ‘f’ in chips but ….

Just wondering, cos the sign on the wall (left of image), hasn’t got one!

    😮 😕 😮 😕 😮 😕 😮 😕 😮 😕 😮 😕 😮

oooops, sorry – didn’t mean it, I was only looking 😳

Nice signs mate but i`m affraid i must disagree on it being the best.

The Magpie Cafe in Whitby is unparalleled. 😛 😛 😛

Before i ever visited Whitby i always assumed that fish tasted a particular way and was a sort of slightly off white in colour.

Then i visited Whitby and found out what real cod and haddock looked and tasted like :p

It`s just aswell it`s so far away from me. 😉

Damn it`s lunchtime and i`ve just made myself ravenous.

Yes, good one. The car looks really nice.

As for the best chippy in the world…..Bretts in Leeds, or the one on Brewer’s Quay in Weymouth. So there. 😛

That is one thing you can NOT get over here…some good fish and chips. It’s always one of the first things I get when I visit my family, well that and a nice pint!

    Hi Marek,

There is one thing we can’t get over here, that is shops like –

    Oceanside Photo & Telescope ( http://www.optcorp.com )

It is the best shop in the world, I spent a fortune when I was there a couple of years a ago, very friendly and helpful staff, a credit to Oceanside.

You live in a wonderful part of the world, the seafood in CA is fantastic, and as for a pint, what’s wrong with Sam Adams???

    Regards,
    Mark

    Hey Mark,
OPT is definately a great store. That’s where I bought all my camera equipment. I have a couple of friends that work there. They actually just moved into a new location. They are now right on the corner of the main street (mission avenue) and have a much bigger store.
The seafood is great over here, but it just isn’t the same. My Dad owns a house down in Baja California (Mexico) and we catch a ton of fresh fish all year, but sometimes I just crave some fish and chips wrapped in that brown paper.
The beer is good here, but again it’s just not the same.
    Well enough rambling from me.

    Marek,

I’m not suprised OPT had to move premises, it was totally crammed out when I was there. I couldn’t believe how much equipment they had.

You say the beer just isn’t the same. At least you can buy Michelob Dark 😉

And you live just down the road from my favourite roller coaster park – Magic Mountain – and I actually managed to have a ride on ‘X’ yeah!!!!
