Applied to weathertex, printed on Oracal 3551 and laminated with oracal 215 satin.

The picture was supplied to me as an A4 300dpi, and enlarging it to 3.6m wide was a challenge, but it worked out rather well I thought

I did most of the posters seen in the sales office too.

I am a corporate sponsor for the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary http://www.currumbin-sanctuary.org.au/ (along with Coke, Cadbury and Konica), and have donated nearly $6000 in signs since xmas. They pay me for some, and I donate others. They paid me for this one, although I only charge them at wholesale.

I have a strong belief that we should give something back to the community, and helping a not-for-profit group is my way of doing it.

    Cheers
    Shane

well done shane.. is 3.6mm wide correct, I am a bit confused on that one?
We do some charity work and have actually got involved with a couple, sandcastle building for a hospice, guy falwkes and carnivals, we get asked about once a month to get involved with something, but something I learnt a fair bit about years ago, some charities do make money on advertising and they are willing to pay the money, they can be good customers sometimes.

Yes mate 3640mm to be exact (not sure what that is in the old measurement – about 12 feet?)

These people are such a nice bunch, from the CEO to the cleaner, they appreciate everything. Sometimes I feel guilty charging them at all.

They are involved in all aspects of animal care, but primarily our native animals, you can take any native animal or bird you find injured and they will care for it totally free of charge. The are certainly a dedicated bunch and bring $1000’s of tourism dollars into the community, but our Government here see’s no reason to fund them.

They are up against some pretty slick theme parks from the USA, and trying to find the money to keep the doors open is a continual struggle. I like to help whenever I can, as I am an animal lover too.

    Cheers

I agree with you, providing support to the bonafide “not for profit” organisations not only shows some commitment to your community but makes good business sense as well. We do this fairly often and are repaid with good publicity.

    Well done mate.

Looks great Shane…I’ll be looking for it on “Crocodile Hunter”. 😀 You must be very popular in your area. You are always doing the “right” thing by the sound of it.

    Thanks everyone,

Marek, Steve Irwin is in direct oposition to the sanctuary, and they find it very hard to compete, with him being so popular and all, but they also don’t have his operating expenses either. Thanks for your other comment too. 😳 I do try to help if I can. I have a fairly high profile in my area and I don’t advertise cause all my work is by referral, but that generates its own problems. One being that my opposition say some pretty nasty things about me that are simply not true. I can only prove them wrong by example, as it is the best answer I can think of.

    Cheers
