Was not allowed to remove the old signage. Had to put the new one over the old. Old sign a bit faded but still a lovely hand painted one.

    Hello Lee,

Good job 😀 Looks like it was a fairly easy fit on top of the existing sign.

    So what do they sell?

“Oh hello, I’d like half a pound of acoustics please!” 😮 😕 😮

    Good Morning Mark

Yes it was easy to fit. Although the other sign was old it was in good condition. Two sheets of dibond – both 8ft x 1ft 6in – nice tight fit in old frame. The only sad part was putting in screws in to the old sign.

They are a music shop & PA Hire but mainly keyboards and guitars, so hence the ‘keyboards’. The only difference between the finished sign and the original design is that the lettering was going to be raised brushed ali dibond but unfortunately money ran out.

    I enjoyed doing it.

BTW read your post out to Jenny…………’Oh, that’s from Mark’

    Regards

    Hello Lee,

Tell Jen it must be the fresh sea air that’s getting to my head 🙄

I’ll let you know when the CD arrives.

    Nice work Lee 😀

Out of interest, why were you not allowed to remove the old sign? Is it the whole heritage thing or???

    Cheers, Dewi

I like it too Lee. So often ‘simple’ is best.

Dewi: I think the landlord just wants to keep the sign up so if the business owner’s change, the ‘new’ sign can be removed but the original one is still there. If it is removed I’ve got first claim to it.

I know it’s not mine but it would just look great on by workshop wall.

First proper shop sign I’ve done so thanks for all the positive comments.

Thanks Nik. It’s on the cards for the windows to be done at some time in the future………more to the point…….when they have got some money.
