    Hey Folks,

I was speaking to our favourite Tassie this morning and was telling him about a foam product I used late last year. The product is about 8mm thick black with black foam inside, it was outdoor grade. Whoo hoo I thought. Anyway I cut the sign, applied vinyl and fitted the job. Then I was told by my supplier that it was taken off the market, and not to use it externally…

Oh well here’s the job. Nearly twelve months, Customer is still happy. I didn’t design the logo, just had to work with what I was given.

    Hey Gray,

    Thanks for your comments mate.

No choice at all on the font used. I totally agree with you. The customer tied my hands with this one. At the time I think I actually made a post about fussy customers. This lady would not let me use any other font or typestyle on this sign.

If you ask me…It’s pretty disgusting, but she likes it and the shop has been quite a success…So what do I know? I’ve only really put it here to show you and maybe to point out maybe what shouldn’t be done.

The vehicle was my work though. Only one small “funky flora” on the rear wheel cover. I had a lot of fun with that, but again…The customer strikes back.

The lady liked the original design which I’ve shown, but decided instead of having one colour for the flowers on the side of the car, she wanted flowers in all of the colours used and pasted all over the sides and rear. Man. I was pretty peed off with that. I wanted to show the Funky Lady waving a wand with flowers being “sprinkled” from the wand. Nup! More is better says lady.

At the end of the day It’s her car, she’s got to drive it. Oh well.

I got a few jobs referred by this lady after and did quite well out of her so I can’t complain.

I did like the car as shown though. The waves were hand cut by eye.
