  • Sheet storage options? Advice needed on storage rack please?

Posted by Reza Faezi on July 17, 2015 at 10:54 am

We are contemplating buying a rack from signgeer as at the moment they are stored leaning up against a wall. As expected after a few weeks they start to bend. Has anyone bought one of these storage racks and give me some feedback if they are ok (and worth the money 😮 )? Also how/where does everyone else store their sheets?

We’re after similar as our sheets are stored on the office roof… We’ve looked at these

We’ve bought shelving and flooring from them before and can’t fault the service and quality.

Yes, Phill Fenton did a very good demo based on making a Sheet material Rack System.

Hadn’t seen Phills tutorial before, not sure how I missed that, looks to be another very good tutorial from Phill.

I did the same sort of thing & made a rack, I just had a look at a couple of the steel ones people were selling & then made it a similar way but from wood.

Thank you for all of your replies. Unfortunately i do not have the necessary membership subscription to view the tutorial, but im sure its a good one. We are no closer to deciding which way to go, but liking martins suggestion of making one from wood. I wish we had a unit as big as Duncan’s or its a not as big as it seems and you have utilized your small space well, either way, i like it. Whichever way we go, we will post some pictures

    Hi Reza

The membership will more than pay for itself if you use Phil’s tutorial rather than buying a rack 🙂

My Unit isn’t that big either, I built my rack using one of the walls close to the roller shutter door to make it easy when deliveries came plus I only had to manufacture one side rather than 2 :lol1:
Works well for me but might not suit everyone, because it’s against the wall it doesn’t seem to take up much room & I have a workbench built onto the side of it which was originally built onto the wall.
