    Shane,

I can never remember whether you are ten hours in front, or ten hours behind, us here, so this may already be too late. But just in case…..

    HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!!

    😀

    Thanks Friends.

We are 10 hours ahead John.

Typical Australia Day yesterday… 36 deg c during the day, 86% humidity, then the chance of a storm. We didn’t get the storm here last night, but we got a ripper the night before, and another is due tonight.

Yes Dave, it is an actual public holiday here – see http://www.australiaday.gov.au/pages/page98.asp (although I worked for most of it), and yes, the cricket was embarrassing to watch – especially if your a pom – read http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,865 … 12,00.html. Even the balmy army have gone home. They have forfeited their remaining tickets, so plenty of seats now for the remaining games.

Still, they beat the Kiwis (the only game they have won all tour thou).

Jill, I’ll have to save the Tim Tams for later. My Doctor put me on a diet and although I’ve lost 11kg, I’ve still got a way to go, and its weigh in tomorrow 😥 and I’ve been a bad boy 😉 eating the wrong things (read: anything enjoyable) over the holidays.

The wife has lost 12kg, my dad (also put on a diet by his Dr has lost 14kg, and my mum and sister have lost 12kg’s each) You know what they say…. the family the diet together, complain together :lol1:

    Thanks again friends.

Mate, can’t go to Wynnum Manly without thinking of you every time now. Even my kids tell me that ‘this is where your Scottish friend lived isn’t it?"

We even had a Pizza in the park in your honour a few weeks back. ( Scary place at night though 😕 ) See, so even kids you’ve never spoken to you, miss you 😉 They probably wished you were there for protection.. they weren’t too confident that I was much good hiding under the table 😳
