I run windows on mac…that is where the problem started…dont suppose you know about my question?
-
no they don’t. I have a 32bit XP (dark ages)…it looks as tho I cannot upgrade either from that to windows 8… You cant seem to buy a full version just upgrades…geezz…maybe if I bought a xp with service pack three disk i might be able to upgrade from that..as from April 2014 microsoft are not even going to do any automatic updates for XP anymore….goodness knows why (apart form forcing people like myself) to spend more money…XP way the best system imo. sorry to see it go.
Id rather do away with pc altogether…I only run it because I know Corel inside out.

thank you Chris, that unfortunately is just an overview and no longer a sp download… 🙁

follow on from that link
type xp3 download in the top search
follow on as to save the file to disk 500mb -
Thank you Chris…
I think it is now time to bow to the inevitable and buy windows 7…
thanks for your suggestions and bye bye XP…sad farewell.. -
Couldn’t you just reinstall the windows VM? How did it affect the Mac OS?

Ive ordered 7 now. I am sure I tried that link too.
Jon, had to get rid of the VM fault on mac, thinking I could just make another as I have a disc for XP…therein is the problem.

If you have problems with 7, the link leads to a Service Pack 3 ISO file, which you burn
to a CD so that you can update your re-installed XP in your new VM machine.
