Searching for long Polypropylene Tags
Well these are clothing tags wire that you generally see connecting a label to an item of clothing, however we are making something in large qtys that requires a tag around 250mm long, one end will have a small acrylic disc with the T-piece and the the fat end will be on a frame… so imagine a dangling disc thing that shimmers.
Anyone know the manufacturer of Polypropylene tags or know where to get long tags?
The problem with using fishing wire is the time involved with knotting or attaching a coupling, we are looking for a simple thing that we could get made up or source something
Any ideas?

Dave, are Polypropylene tags a form of plastic and if they are will they be ridged enough for what you want to do at that length?
Got a couple of brochures so will have a look through, would imagine getting them made up specially could be expensive for the initial set up but if your using a lot of them then I suppose it works itself out to a much better price.

yep, thats fine…. the qty’s involved will cover it. All the ones I found online are short.
I would presume these are injection molded but no idea.
i still looking for an answer to this, might have to go with 3mm cord which is not good and struggling to fix it. -

have a ring around injection mould companies you may find they have a mould sitting on the shelf similar enough to be able to be used. Other than that you may be able to stamp them out of flat sheet subject to having the dies made.Kev

thanks guys… i would ring around injection moulders, but who? lol
I looked at EPOS, nothing there sadly, really needs to be a thin 1mm tube that can be invisible. -
