A school I am working with on all their signage has requested a large 1600 x 600 monolith in their reception hall.
They want to keep it a simple modern design.
Have mentioned Grey and Chrome /silver as their main choice and possibly maroon which is apparently in their new colour scheme.
I have incorporated a few of the ideas they gave me into the following designs, but wandering if anyone has some other ideas.

Also wandering what the best medium to print onto for long term durability / fading is. Protected behind polycarbonate sheet and indoors. Will a paper print fade too quickly?

    thanks
    Stuart

is this an existing monolith or something you are making/building or buying one in?

i wouldnt print on paper. best wait to see what design you come up with and also how it will be made before worrying about printing etc

They are thinking of buying a monolith such as Architec or Vista Totem.
Then plenty of options on what to do. Print paper or vinyl. Cut vinyl.
Yep agree it depends on the design, but just wandering if they want something printed what is best so I can give them an idea of price to go with the suggested designs.
A thin sheet can be inserted behind the clear cover and replaced if want to change.
laying cut vinyl can be onto the monolith direct or another polycarbonate sheet.
    Any other ideas appreciated.

I have no info about printing or anything like that.
But I think the first layout is too simple, and the second one seems redundant with reception used twice.
I think you need to grab the eye of the visitor first so I made Visitors large.
The pencil is supposed to be the arrow.
Just messing around, meant to do this the other day but was swamped.
Colors are supposed to be maroonish.
    Love…..Jill
