Scam 414
Just got another one of those Scam 414’s email
I’m sure we are all aware of these scams but for those who are not.
BEWARE!It starts of something like this and there are variations on a theme:
A large amount of money (1,500,000$) has been left during civil strife overseas due to the family being killed. They have left no next of kin. We are looking for honest people, who will stand in as next of kin, to deposit this large sum into their bank account and you have been selected as an honest person. We would like to arrange this sum to be transferred into your account and as a reward you will take 20% of the total. etc..
It is very tempting isn’t it?
But now they want your bank details (to put the money in of course!!???!!!)
As I say I’m sure you guys are aware of it but it would be sad if someone on the board wasn’t and fell victim to it

Even better, play along with it for a while. The more people that do that the more they’ll get bogged down. Some great examples here..

Thought I’d seen something similar to this name somewhere 😆 😆Jon: Just spent a bit of time on that site. If you want a good laugh there’s the place to go. Nice to play them at their own game
