Hi my customer wants some silver banners for use on scaffolding so with pockets top and bottom. Size apx 1220mm x 900mm printing area plus pockets. I’ve looked online but only find companies that do the printed finish product. Years ago you could buy the tarp in the colour you wanted and apply vinyl which is what id like to do this time. Is there any companies out there that still do this? Alternatively anyone want to quote to do them for me?

    Hi Jean

I also bought the material and lettered it but the coloured banner material is a bit harder to come by these days. In the past, we bought it from a company that makes truck curtain sides and they had lots of colours.

I seem to recall Paperlinx selling coloured banners by the roll and pre-hemmed with eyelets. I think they called it “Banana Banner” Every two feet there were two eyelets side by side and it was here you just cut the banner at whatever length you required and lettered it. The downside was I think it only came in 2 or 3 widths.

Silver is also not a colour that you can print, I am guessing this might be why you want a self-coloured banner.

As for a trade supplier, give Jamie and call, I am sure he will be able to help. I use him for several of his trade services when I can’t make them myself.
