Scaffold Signs Help
Posted by Terry Gall on October 26, 2005 at 8:58 amHi All,
I have been asked to supply a large scaffold company with scaffold safety signs. These are made from aluminum and have a roll top edge to fit over scaffold.
Does any know where I can purchase blank versions of these?
Cheers

how about buy the blanks from ashby cot to shape (radius corners probably)and get a local fabricator to roll the tops scaffold tubes are 50mm diameter
-
Mark, at a gues i’d say a scaffold tube is nearer 65mm, i’ve handles a few and 50mm just seems too small to me, i might be wrong though ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

may not be the answer you need, but what about router flat cut aluminium panels with corner radious & two small slits a couple of mil deep by 15mm wide at the top one side. letter the panels and they could use the heavy duty tie-it’s (spelling?) from b&q to attach to scaffold. ide have thopught this safer than hooking signs over the poles, as they could easily be knocked and fall down into street. 😕

not done the aly sign route for scaffolders before but have used banner material and wraped around the poles with velcro.

done the banner ones myself dave but does the velcro last long?
i know some scaffold companies get the banner with the large hem for the poles to slide through but they are not normaly the big ones. i the huge banner wraps use bungee type suspension setup… -
is there anyware to get them scaffold banners, like already with hems? blank of cores 🙄
would be good to know

del most of the banner manufacturers will make anything up to your own specifications 😀 also they are really popular…so they probablly have a stock of different sizes 😀
